Programm issue with App ( manual mode )

Il programma notturno funziona regolarmente ma non funziona lo start manuale.

Anche entrando nel programma e selezionando esegui ora non parte.

Ho già provato a riavviare App centralina NETRO e router Wifi senza risultato.

Rimane in connessione ma non parte !!

Whisper set for additional water at 60%-not watering

I have three zones with Whisperer 2 devices that have been installed for some time. It to skip watering above 90% and water extra at 60%. Soil moisture is currently at 56% and to says it isn't going to wTer again for like 40 hours. What's up with that? There is only a 38% chance of rain, and that is .1 inches so that can't be it.

Netro Sprite

Good morning,


I have my netro sprite with green light showing connected.

Nonetheless, when executing the programs it shows "connection problems". When I try to run the programs manually, it keeps "connecting..." but does not open the valves so that it waters.


I have removed and reset the connection with the network, it becomes green again, but it still not work.

I have also reviewed the electrical connections on the valves, and they are ok.

I have also tested opening the valves manually, they open and water normally.


the only problem is when executing electronically... it keeps "connecting...." and does nothing.

Font size/ dark mode

Dark mode and font size (especially a problem with charts) are two things that were going to be addressed a few years ago. Could I please get a current status on when dark mode will be available and when font size, or at least the ability to zoom the app screen will be available? Turning on the Apple magnifier, or having to take a screenshot and then zoom that so that you can read data is very inconvenient.

API broken?

Hi, I can get my Netro controller info using:

curl -v https://api.netrohome.com/npa/v2/info.json?key=MYAPIKEY

(where MYAPIKEY is a key from the user account page)

but when I try to update soil moisture data with:

curl -X POST -H "Accept: application/json" -H 'Content-Type:application/json' -d '{"key":"MYAPIKEY","moisture":100}' "https://api.netrohome.com/npa/v2/set_moisture.json"

I get an error about an invalid key:

Skip watering based on soil moisture (Pixie + Whisperer)

Hello! I would like to set up my system to skip watering if soil moisture reads above a certain threshold. I have the Whisperer and the Pixie, so would like the Whisperer to communicate with the Pixie, so the Pixie skips watering if soil moisture is high enough. Is this possible? Thanks for your help.

Old whisperer

My two whisperers stopped due to lack of sun. The new one started communicating again.

The old one started communicating but then stopped while the battery was still above 90%.

Seems a communication problem 

Blue light blinking turned quickly to white light blinking.

After blinking a few minutes it stopped but is not connected to the App.

Tried putting it ON close to controller and then close to WiFi router, the result is the same, no connection.

Is the whisperer dead ? Should I buy a new one ?

I have one particular zone that i only require watering for 15 seconds every second day.

How can i do this?  i was able to do it on my previous OpenSprinkler.

aut watering triggered when Wisperer is out of power

Hello,

I have 2 Whisperer for automatic regularion of my watering.

They work normally work perfekt but when the bad weather prevents charging for o longer period they go to sleep/closes down.

Then my Netro thinks the soil is dry 0% humidity and aut starts my watering eventhough the soil is 90%.

I have ti disable the Netro to stop watering until the Whispering is charged.

Since I do not get any warning that the Wispering power is too low the aut watering can go on and on wasting my water and flooding my garden!

The average temperature for a day is insufficient to calculate correct watering.

When I have Whisperers, the system appears to calculate the average over the day about 4 degrees higher than for zones without Whisperers.

It seems that, even though the weather data is available throughout the day, that zones without sensors only use the forecast high and low.


This is insufficient to correctly adjust for the amount of watering required.


For example, today is 7 degrees C up to 36.

Whisperer zones average the temp at 26C while non-Whisperer zone calculate the average at 22C.


On these extremely hot days, the non-whisperer zones are under-watering much more than the Whisperer zones.


Also note that even the zones with Whisperers always under-water and needs custom programs or manual intervention.


This finally explains to me why zones are always under-watered.


Can the system please use multiple day readings for non-Whisperer zones and PLEASE provide more watering?

Total water volume restriction

I'm curious if there is a way to restrict or cap the calculated volume of water used daily for smart watering schedules. For example, my well produces about 3500 gallons a day or close to 4.5 CCF. I have a storage tank where the water is stored. Is there any logic that can be added to the smart watering calculation or scheduling to account for a daily water volume budget?

End of Season Shut down

Problem: Spark 16 controller stuck on "in communication"

I'm experiencing a serious issue with my Netro Spark 16 controller. It connects correctly to Wi-Fi and appears online in the app, but when I try to start irrigation manually, the app just stays on "in communication" and nothing happens.


The problemm is with the 4g Vodafone/HoMobile provider as yout mentioned in https://netrohome.com/en/forum/posts/4052


I have already asked several time the update for the device, but nobody reply me

i wrote also to Netro support email: support@netrohome.com  --> nobody reply me.


What should i do to have this update?
