Dear customer,


Depending on the selected sprinkler type, the default flow rate in different Modes is different. The default value is 38.1

If you want to customize the flow rate, you can go to Settings->Zones->Smart Zone, choose Customized mode, and you can set the Flow Rate.

Not calculating for ecomode?

Dear customer,


We noticed the watering time for Zone 5 is longer than other zones, but the frequency of Zone 5 watering is not very high. Sometimes it takes 3-4 days to water once. 


In addition, the zone area of Zone 5 you set is relatively large, so the amount of watering required will be more. Netro AI will calculate the watering amount according to the area and plant type. If the ECO is still too much, the new version of the APP has added a Boost factor, and you can adjust the watering using this new feature when it is released.

The moisture on the zone is based on the day and updated once per day. Smart Schedules should not be updated immediately after the manual run. But the next day's Smart Schedules will be reduced.

Preferences about time

If you create a program or restriction, Netro will strictly follow the watering time and duration, however, preferences will not. Netro will try to water during your preferred time. However, if Netro believes your watering is not enough, it will still water your zones regardless of you preferred watering time.

]If you set the "Days to Skip" option in Settings -> Preferences -> Rain to "Previous day, rainy day", then watering will not be affected the day after rainfall. 


However, if a zone has a high plant water demand or requires frequent watering, Netro AI might still choose to water that zone despite rainfall if the zone's moisture level is not sufficiently high.

It's possible that this issue could be due to the relatively humid conditions in your city. Please ensure that the environment where Spark is located is kept somewhat dry and avoid exposing it to water.

Timer shows watering, but no watering!

Dear customer,


Please check the wires. Are they loose or disconnected from the slots? Please also check the common wires and the master valve if you have one. If you believe the wires are correctly installed,  please check if there is a main valve/faucet that is turned off manually. 

To test if the controller is working properly, use a multimeter (AC voltage mode) to test the voltage between the common wire and the zone wire when the zone is active. Normally the voltage should be between 24V and 28V.

You might also want to check whether there are shorted zones or open zones. You just need to use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the common wire and each zone (remove the wires from the slots before testing the resistance). The normal reading would be 20-60 Ohms. If the reading is less than 10 Ohms then you might have a shorted circuit in the solenoid and if it is larger than 80 Ohms you might have an open circuit.

Dear customer,


The humidity of a zone is provided daily, with one reading per day. If you reset the humidity level, the Netro algorithm will calculate from the reading for the beginning of that day. 

However, when a sensor is connected to the Zone, the readings from the sensor will be used instead. The Netro AI algorithm also takes into consideration the humidity impact of weather conditions.

Dear customer,


If you do not want smart zone schedule to override your own programmed schedule, you can set up the Smart Zone level from Advanced to Basic through Settings->Zones->Smart Zone , which only skip rainning days for your programmed schedule.

If you want to create your own programs and turn off smart zone feature and rain delay feature, go to Settings->Zones->Smart Zone (Settings->Garden->Smart Zone for Pixie Timer) and toggle the enable button. When the smart zone is disabled, the system will strictly follow the user program to water the zones. There is no intelligence here. Netro will not skip your schedules when there is rain. Regulation feature will not be in effect as well.
