Thanks for contacting us and reporting your local regulation to us. We check and update the water regulation regularly, especially in summer as many states will lift rules about water regulation.


However, sometimes we could not get the accurate results and keep up with the recent regulations about water regulation. Some states do not release news about changed water regulation on their official website. We will check update our regulation database immediately when users report regulations.

We are sorry about the inconvenience and we have updated our regulation now. We have disabled the stage 2 regulation and enabled the year round regulation in your area. Please go to Settings->Regulations to check.

Hi,

We currently do not support Apple homekit. Netro is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. We will consider enable Homekit in our future development but it is not our top priority.

How do you stop the watering

Hi Rick,


If the zone is already running, you will need to go to the home screen of the Netro app and press the square stop button to shut off the running zone.

If you want to cancel a future run, you can go to the Schedule page, select the day and skip the user programs.

Hi Luca,

Our system currently do not support Netatmo weather station. In the next release, we are going to support Weather Underground PWS (https://www.wunderground.com/). You can connect your local weather station to the Weather Underground network, and tell Netro your PWS ID, then you could use the accurate data reported by your weather station.

Spanish language for control

Reset Moisture Level

Hi,

Currently Netro does not allow users to reset the soil moisture level.  However, Netro Whisperer sensor monitors real-time environmental conditions, for example, the soil moisture level changes accordingly if you water manually. To get a proper calculation and better soil moisture accuracy, we suggest Netro Whisperer sensor and that's why we made it.

Netro currently doesn't support the feature to treated multiple zones as the same physical area and water them exactly the same, which we may support later.  If your zones have the same configurations, Netro's smart schedules should be almost identical for all zones. It's different  because you had manually water some zone, so zones might have different estimated moisture level. But it is totally fine. We make sure the moisture level in the a reasonable range for all zones.

Hi John,


If you want to create your own programs and turn off smart zone feature and rain delay feature, please go to Settings->Zones->Smart Zone and toggle the enable button. When the smart zone is disabled, the system will strictly follow the user program to water the zones. There is no intelligence here. Netro will not skip your schedules when there is rain. Regulation feature will not be in effect as well.


If you want to keep the smart watering feature. To adjust smart watering, please go to settings->zones->select a zone->smart zone and choose your preferred watering mode. We recommend you to choose boost mode to increase the watering amount. You can choose "customized" mode to adjust watering by providing the preferred moisture level and flow rate of your sprinklers.

Smart schedule failed/ watering outside perameters

Hi Kyle.

Currently we only have notification for users about device is offline but you need to enable Netro App notification in your smart phone settings.

Netro always keep one month schedule on local and can keep water your yard up to one month without wifi. 


We just checked your account and we found you preferred watering time is 12 am ~ 5am. Netro keeps watering outside your preferred watering time because Netro thinks the smart watering is not enough. To strictly restrict watering to a certain period, please go to Settings->Restrictions to add a restriction.

Adapter in EU

If you purchase without power adapter version, you need a 220V/230V input and 24V output power Adapter and make sure AMP is larger than 600mA if your sprinkler system has mater valve. Power adapter output of  24V AC 1000mA is Ok.

Your sensor will be shipped next week. We have created shipping label. 


Our sensors are delayed from international over one month. We got latest update from shipping carrier that our sensors have arrived Portland port and will be delivered to our Portland warehouse next Tuesday. We will ship your order immediately when we receive our goods.

Auto connect to Internet after outage

Sprite controller will re-connect to the Wi-Fi automatically and load it’s last configuration after a power outage. Also, all the zone settings and watering schedules are saved on the cloud server, so you won’t lose anything.

Hi Terry, 


Our current design is maximum 60 minutes for one zone each time. In our future release we will consider extend this time. For now, you can work around by adding multiple programs. Please go Settings>programs>add programs. Make sure there is no overlap of start and end time between two programs since Netro can only water one zone each time.

Google Home app questions- just installed my Netro Sprite!

Thanks for contacting us.

1.To say directly to google, you can try "ok google,talk to netro sprite",after recognition, then say "water zone 1 for 5 minutes."

2. Currenly Netro waters one zone at a time. We will get it to recognize sequential zone commands in the future.

3. Currently we do not support specific zone name but only zone index, for example, zone 1, zone 2. You can talk to your Google home like: "Hey google, ask Netro Sprite to water zone two for 5 minutes." or "Hey google, ask Netro Sprite to stop watering." Currently these are the only two commands that we support. We will add more in future, for example, running a specific program.
