I can't answer this exactly, but if you go into the zone's smart zone settings and put it on "Boost" you can up the length of time it will water - my guess would be maybe somewhere between 2-3?
My irrigation system has 9 zones. 5 of these zones need a lot more watering than the other 4. The lawn fertilizing company says I need less frequent watering but more deep watering at approximately 1” to 1.5” per week. The irrigation water is on a well/pump system.
Are you suggesting I change the 4 zones to “Boost” to get them up to the 180 minutes of runtime?
I am trying to get the lawn watering completed between 2am and 8am during the Summer. After 8 am I have drip irrigation coming on for vegetable and flower gardens.
