It would be helpful to see the moisture and light charts for the full year and not just for weeks or months

Thanks!

Pixie Valve Issue

Alec Simonson
Actualizado 2020-12-15 05:48:10 UTC

Hello!  Purchased a Pixie from Amazon.  Easily set up the device, charged the battery, connected to the outdoor faucet, but the valve won't open.  I tried both through the app and using the 2-push manual button.  Both changed the light to blue, but no water came out.  A click could be heard though.

The tap was most certainly on.  Is there a solve for this or did I just get a bad lot?

Thanks,

Alec

Automatic switch to 12 hour reporting for sensors

Julian Hansen
Actualizado 2020-12-10 12:30:21 UTC
Hi I have 6 senors that have all worked perfectly for 3 months unattended. A month ago I noticed 1of them only had 5% charge so I switched it to 12 hour reporting and it is now on 38%. Today another sensor has gone to 0% charge and stopped reporting. It would be great if you could be set it automatically switch at say 30% charge. It will be 3 months before I am back to the house so I hope the sensor can recover. Thanks for a fantastic product.

How to make Netro sensor repair

My sensor doesn’t blink white led. When I presses the power button, it shows solid white for a while and then green color and red and goes off. The instructions make me confused. I tried to press the power button for 6 times. What does restart 3 times means? My sensor never goes to blinking white color.

Master valve timing

joeac
Actualizado 2020-12-04 05:38:31 UTC

Product: Sprite

I am using a master valve upstream of my branch line solenoids. It seems that the master and downstream solenoids shut off simultaneously, or, perhaps, the downstream solenoid shuts off first. This means that when the system is off there is high pressure between the master valve and the solenoids.

This isn't ideal for the case where the user has high water pressure, and (in Australia) when using 19mm poly pipe it can result in slow dripping leaks until the pressure releases. This pressure isn't present when the downstream solenoids are operating.

Additionally, I notice a hammering sound when the system starts up. I wonder if this is from two valves opening almost simultaneously?

Can I ask/suggest, if a better method of solenoid timing is:

For start of run: downstream solenoid 'on', wait 1 second, master valve 'on'

For change of zones: downstream solenoid of current zone 'off', wait 1 second, downstream solenoid of new zone 'on'

For end of run: master valve 'off', wait 1 second, downstream solenoid 'off'

Would that seem practical? I'm thinking of how to reduce stress on the components in the system.

It's a great product, by the way!

Joe

App shows my Netro is "Idle". I've closed the app, unplugged the unit, plugged back in, hit reset quickly, connected to Netro wi-fi, then to my wi-fi entered password and app says it successfully connected but then is still in Idle mode. I can't manually or programmatically water. Help! All of my mature plants are dying here in the desert. Thank you.

Meaningful integration to any home automation platform

Jens Wymeersch
Actualizado 2020-11-17 13:25:17 UTC

Dear,

I've now integrated Netro with amazon, google and IFTTT. None of these integrations are meaningful. I don't want to use a smart speaker to control the Netro devices. The weather and the plant types define my watering schedules, they don't need my voice.

What i'm looking for is the data collected from the Whisperer, watering schedules (past, present and future) and the health of the devices (offline/online, battery, etc.).

My main home automation platform is Home Assistant and it would be great if we would have a Netro plugin to this system like you see with Rachio (https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/rachio/).

Thank you so much,

Regards,
Jens

Editing “Programmed” schedules

Stan Balafas
Actualizado 2020-11-16 17:52:28 UTC

I created, and subsequently edited the name of the scheduled program.  The editing doesn’t work properly.

I labeled each program with a time, then changed the time (side yard - 9am) then (side yard - 10am) and it won’t change.  I’ve had to delete the program and create a new one for it to properly be labeled.

It’s not updating name when I change it.  The coding isn’t working to update, even when I select save.  Seems a pretty rudimentary problem.

Thank ypu
