I have problem with netro pixie

Hi Nguyễn,

 

When you start manual watering, did you received a notification "Starts in -- mins"? It is possible that you Pixie timer is in sleep mode. 

 

By default, your Pixie turns on its WiFi module once every hour to sync up with the server. The sync-up usually takes less than one minute. For the next 59 minutes the timer will be sleeping and disconnected from the WiFi until the next sync. When the timer is sleeping, it is unaware of the schedule changes, including the manual watering.


Therefore, when you start a manual run, the timer is most likely in sleep mode and the status is "pending."  It will have to wait until the next sync-up to start the watering.

Hi Darren,

It is possible the battery is complete out and they need to be recharged. The sunlight in the winter is very week but that should improve in spring. Do you have an incandescent lamp, if so you can use it to charge the sensors for 3 days and they should be back to live.

Dear customer,


You can try the beta version of v3.0.1 on Google play and join the tester program to see if the issue has been fixed. The 3.0.1 android app can only be accessible when you join the Beta tester program on Google play. We will also launch the official 3.0.1 this week and you should be able to use it as a regular user too.

Hi Ben,


Netro sever side gets/updates weather information every early morning at 4 am. If the default weather provider doesn't work for you, you could try other weather source in settings->controller->weather provider. Please let us know if it works.

If you remove the wire for station 3 from the controller, then start watering other stations for example station 2 or 4, does station 3 start to water?

Why no play button for manual watering in Beta

The manul run button is in the home page, below the Netro logo, there is task bar "online", "enabled", "manual run", "rain delay". Please select "manual run" to start watering for each zone.

It is probably the sensor is out of battery so it does not report data. Please leave the sensor under sunlight for 3~5 days to check if it works.

Pixie problem

Hi Luis,


It is possible that the timer was shipped by airplanes and the shipping company may have demagnetize the internal valve. Manually turning on and off the valve (quickly press the button twice) for about 10 times can fix this issue.

Cannot add sensor to Pixie controller

Dear customer,


Are you adding an existing sensor to your Pixie timer or moving standalone sensors to a zone?

To move the stand alone sensor to a zone, first you have to go to Settings->Sensors->Edit(upper right corner) and then delete the sensor. Next you will have to go to the home page. There is a drop down menu and please select your timer, then tap the "+" button on the upper right corner,  go to Add a Product->WifiDevice-> Plant sensor and then complete the following procedures to add the sensor. You will need to press the button 6 times on the back of the sensor to change its mode to Setup mode (light blinking slowly).


Please let us know if it works.
