Dark Mode and/ or Font size

on my iPhone it is nearly impossible to read a lot of the characters because they aren’t in dark black letters it’s a very light thin font. It seems like it would be a lot easier to read if the application supported dark mode. The other option would be to set a preference to increase the font size. That seems like pretty standard request so I’m hoping you guys might be able to get it in a future build.

iPhone app crashes after making changes via website if you select "Weather flow PWS" for provider

I tried out the new web portal to manage my 3 pixies and their connected whisperers. I modified 2 of the 3 (if you're looking at my account, they're named "Potted Plants" and "Front Lawn") to use my Weather Flow PWS that I have in my backyard, since I have one and I noticed that this option does not exist in the iPhone app. Upon doing so, the iPhone app crashes every single time. I went back to the web portal and changed the weather provider back to the default "Netro Weather" and the iPhone app no longer crashes. If I changed it back to the Weather Flow PWS, it'll crash.


I presume it's crashing because the site offers this new choice for weather providers but this same choice hasn't yet been pushed out to your iPhone app yet and the app doesn't know what to do. I guess until the iPhone app gets updated I'll use the default provider, but this is a pretty annoying bug since I constantly get better results with my weather flow pws than any of the iPhone available options.

Pump Problem

I have a 2.5 acre site half of which is controlled by an Orbit timer and now the other half (the field) is controlled with the new S-12 .

The water is pumped out of a seasonal pond and the pump is turned on whenever the zone(s) are turned on through a standard switch from the timers to the pump.

The problem is that I get a pump fault on the Orbit timer if the pump wire is left hooked up to the Netro timer. They are wired such that both 

timer"s pump connection is to a common wire to the switch. This was not a problem when I had two Orbit timers. What can be done? - run a separate wire to the switch? Do something in the software? Need to know soonest.

Weather accuracy

Hi, Would it be possible to use Netatmo network as weather provider? Each member on this network has its own weather station and you can connect to see the real time weather on each station. As an example, my brother has one which measures temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, rainfall,... It would be nice to use real time data instead of expected data.

Controller shuts valve off after One minute

To my controller shuts the valve off automatically after a little over a minute every time I turn it on to manual run whether I set for 10 15 20 minutes it doesn't matter this is very frustrating

New Whisperer Issue

 I have received my new whisperer but I can't get it to give me the temperature and humidity data correctly.

I am concerned about the excess water that I may waste.

Can somebody help me?

Change manual run back

I really hope that you change the manual run portion of the Netro App back to the way it was. As a dealer, installer, and owner, I find the changes made earlier this year make for a very time-consuming, difficult, and glitchy experience. To schedule a runtime of more than 1 minute is a pain and usually the timer is unresponsive.

2 Spark 16s linked?

I've installed 2 Spark 16s to control a 26 valve system.  All the valves are working fine with this setup.  Are there instructions for the best way to configure this?  I have low water pressure and can't run 2 valves at the same time, so some synchronization between the 2 Sparks is needed.  I could manually setup restrictions on each unit, so they can't overlap, but that seems too coarse.  Any ideas about the best way to program this?

I searched, but couldn't find it in the app.

Spark zones do not work

I installed my Spark yesterday and zones 5 through 8 do not work. I metered the valve on zone 5 and it is fine. I also swapped zones 4 and 5 and the fault stayed on 5. I tried connecting the zone to 6 and 8 and still received the fault. Is the controller defective?

How to convert sunlight to something useful like hours

For my whisper, what is k lic sunlight?  I googled it and it’s intensity. Like direct sun has higher lux  than overcast


I can’t tell from the app how much hours of good sunlight there was each day last week

Controller offline every few days / minutes - no longer turns water on

I had a controller for a couple years that worked fine until completely dieing this spring. I replaced it with a new unit, installed in exactly the same place. The new unit goes offline every few days. Usually power cycling it a few times brings it back online.  I've even had to install a smart plug in line with the power supply so I can reset this remotely - but why does the new controller go offline every 2-3 days when the old one never did?


Added information:

At the suggestion of support, I tried a reset (pin in the front) and this did what was expected - it reset it. Some of the times it goes offline it goes into reset mode by itself - and this appears to just do the same as it was sometimes doing by itself. 

Also, it now often stays offline all the time and nothing I do other than a reset seems to bring it back online.


Just to provide further information, sometimes when it won't go online, I get the slow blinking indicating it is in setup mode. This then requires me to remove and re-add the controller - which then requires me to completely setup my garden again ( a lengthy job). It would sure be nice if I didn't have to completely reconfigure the garden each time I re-add the controller.


My updated for today - after todays factory reset, following by another garden reconfiguration, I did a manual run for each of my 4 zones. From the app, it looks like everything ran - but a physical check showed that no water was applied. The app thinks it turned on the water, but it didn't.  I'm really starting to think maybe I have a dud controller.


It now goes off-line every few minutes. Signal strength tests using various tools show the wi-fi signal is very strong right at the controller


Fyi - I did remove the common and the zone 1 wire, ran a 24v current across them and zone 1 began watering - so I know that everything downstream from the Netro controller still works.

Irrigation cancelled over the last 2 days

The system has cancelled watering over the last 2 days. I see at the scheduler window. But I do not know what is the reason. 

Where can I get the logs, or info?
