Dear customer,
We would like to clarify how our system calculates watering requirements:While the dashboard displays the daily average temperature, our watering algorithm actually takes both the daily high and low temperatures into account to calculate evaporation rates. It does not rely solely on the average value, but instead uses a comprehensive analysis of daily actual temperature fluctuations.
Regarding the higher watering volume in Whisperer-assigned zones, this is likely due to the sensors’ real-time soil moisture data—the system adjusts watering based on the actual moisture level detected, rather than temperature alone.
To address your need for more watering in non-Whisperer zones, since you have multiple Whisperers, you can move a sensor from a well-watered zone to the area where you notice insufficient watering. This will allow the system to adjust based on real-time soil conditions there.
You can also manually increase the watering by configuring different zone modes and add watering programs in the settings.
We hope these explanations and solutions address your concerns. Please feel free to reach out if you need further guidance.
Thanks,
