Still watered after *heavy* rain

Hello, this morning my Netro still watered my front lawn after we had a massively heave rain last night.

I have Smart Zone enabled for all my zones. The Netro was supposed to be optimizing water usage.  

Why did it run this morning?

Don’t Stop !!

I have a problem. May be is the installation. The programm start watering ok, but when finish the App programm never stop watering until I desconnect the cable 24V. Somebody can help me ? It’s possible the cable connection wrong? (I have only 1 zone and the connection is: yellow to C, brown 1 and blue 2 ). Thank you very much

I have been away for about 3 days now, and there has been a power failure at home. Netro has been offline since then for couple of days now. I know my wifi connection is good because my nest is working fine. What is up with this connection not being able to reconnect after accidental signal drop.

I have a ton of errors again for the last two weeks!

I just went to check on my sprinkler system since all of my grass has been dying and realized I've had errors on every watering attempt for the last 2 weeks!! I'm worried that a) it's not working and b) when it does start working it's going to flood my lawn again like it did last time because it tries to overwater for all the times it missed!


why aren't there any app notifications when this thing happens I shouldn't have to monitor the system manually to find out that it has not been watering for so long!

Remote Access?

Can you start the Pixie remotely?  i.e.  if I'm at work (i.e. not connected to my home network) I can start watering my garden?  If so is there anything I need to do to set this up?

Manually skip next watering

How can I manually skip the next scheduled watering?  I am watching it pour outside and the next scheduled watering is at 6 pm this evening.

My Netro worked perfectly last season.  I left it plugged in through the winter and disabled the zones.  At some point during the winter, the light started blinking, and I didn’t worry about it until last week when I went to reactivate the zones.  The app indicated the sprite was offline, so I rebooted and it came back online with a solid light.  System worked with no issues.

The next day, the light was flashing again and app indicated offline.  This time I pressed the rest button and rejoined the network.  Again, worked for a day.  The next day, same problem - this time I rebooted my router.  Again it worked, but offline again the next day.  Don’t understand why it keeps losing connection this year.

Is there a way to just set a test run of 1 minute per station?

When trouble shooting it would be nice to have a test run button so you could just run all the stations one minute. You can manually run each station but you have to do it for each station which is a pain. I have someone working on my system and I have to run it for them and stand there to run each station.

Zone won’t turn on when manually turn it on

Hello I’m having an issue when I try to manually turn on a zone it doesn’t go on. It always worked and started doing this. I trying restarting the whole thing and when I turned the zone on by the Solonid the zone comes on fine. Any idea?

Sprite seems to open valve then fails to deliver water to the system

I have had my Sprite installed for a couple of weeks and all seemed well, but looking at my garden I realized it was not watering. When I turn it on manually I can hear a short buzz and water entering the valve, but there is no flow. I can open the valve manually and water then flows. I have reverted the valve to the old timer and it then opens the valve, so I don't think the problem lies there. 

I have the black wire on the valve connected to the common terminal, which was how it was set up on the old timer. I cannot figure out what the the problem is. 

I am an international user with a non-Netro PSU, but it seems to as specified: 24VAC 850mA Adapter AC-AC 100V-240V to 24VAC Power Supply Adapter UK PLUG

Can anyone help me overcome this problem with what otherwise seems to be an excellent system?

Why is one zone being favored when all zones are identical?

Just installed the system yesterday and I noticed zone 5 (of 5) for some reason is getting special treatment over the rest. All zones are set identically for the same types of grass, soil and sprinkler heads. However looking at the schedule zone 5 seems to be getting more attention than the rest (i.e.: only zone being watered during off days)  what's going on here?

Hot weather algorithm

I live in Arizona and it's not really hot yet but it's starting to get warmer and I noticed my rye grass is starting to die off and everybody else's is very green.  I think it's because netro isn't watering as often as it should be when it gets warmer. I'm aware I can set a manual schedule but that kind of defeats the purpose of why I bought Netro. So what I'm saying is I think an algorithm needs to be adjusted so hot dry climates get a little more watering for winter grass that's still in season before the Bermuda comes in.

Manual mode fail to shut off

Today, I went around the house to start the season, checking springklers, and one zone wouldn't stop in manual mode. I tried to be closer to home to get better Wifi signal. It still would not stop even if I turn on/off other zone. Shouldn't  manual stop override any previous malfunctions? I had to shut the main sprinkler valve for now because there was no way to stop the water for one particular zone.

Any fix for this? I am planning on a leave and that was the whole reason I got Netro, but this worries me if water won't shut off while I am away.

Zone 1 manual water time only 1 minute?

Why does zone 1 only allow 1 minute manual water sequence and all the other zones it’s 5 minutes. I can’t figure out how to change this?

Problemi con Google home

Prodotto perfettamente funzionante ma non riesco ad aggiungere l'app a Google Home. Quando cerco Netro sulla lista delle applicazioni compatibili non la trovo. 

Qualcuno è riuscito a configurarla?

Could you please confirm if the Pixie faucet joint is GHT (garden hose thread) or is it NPT (National Pipe Thread)? 

I'm looking for adapters in Australia to use this unit and its unclear what the size/type the faucet is.

Sprinkle does not stop, does not start, freezing...

I have received today the netro controller, 12 zones.


I have installed it correctly, 1 common wire and 7 zones.


It has connected to thr wifi easily, no problem. 


I can start any zone from the seven manually, but if I turn off manually, it does not turn it off...


If i start another zone then sometimes it stops the previus zone finally then start the new one..


and sometimes it just does not react anymore.. does not matter what i turn off or turn on manually, it does nothing.... 


but the device receives every command, because everytime when i turn a zone off or on, the led will blink 1-2 but nothing happens.


I checked wire, unwire and rewire again just for sure and tried the another common wire socket... then made factory reset and reconfigured it..


same issue...


it turns off zones compketely only if i unplug it from the socket, then i replug it, then it works until i start 1-2 zones and then again the same issues...


so what to do with it?
