Photinia Fraseri Red robin area setup and others

Hi , I'm an Italian happy owner of the netro sprite since last summer :)

Last year I used a classic static programs, this year I want to try the smart side of the platform, I've set my seven zones (square meters,type, etc), but I've some questions:

1) I've two zones with Photinia Fraseri Red Robin (zone3,7), in the database I've set the "Photinia Fraseri", but I've a doubt for the area in sqm, is it square meters or linear meters? If I try to set 50sqm or 25 the water not change, is it correct?

2) The algorithm put 107minutes every 14.5days, I've ask to my gardener and he told me that it's too much water (about double) for that plants in this period. Can i set up only this zone with customs specs?

3) I want to buy the Whisperer sensors, but in Amazon.it there is only the sprite, if I buy by netrohome portal the delivery may be slow, there are additional customs duty,etc. Any chance to see in Amazon.it?

Smart scheduling problem

This is my set up.

I have a netro device + whisperers 

I have set up the netro to skip the previous day and the next day after raining.

I also have set up the schedule for watering from 6 am to 7 am.

If moisture is above 50%, then watering is skipped.


Yesterday it rained a lot and today all the zones were supposed to be skipped. But one of the zones went down to 45% of moisture and watering was started at 19:22.


1) why this happened?

2) Can I change the moisture level to a lower one? Current limit in the application is 50%

To save newly planted Healing Garden for Homless Veterans I need how to set up a "Test Run" program on Sprite--Netro closed and virus closedown upon us! HELP Please.

I have a Sprite installed at a healing garden--part of a new transitional home here in Sebastopol, CA  for homeless veterans on which I was the project manager.  However the non-profit team who will bring in the vets has not taken occupancy yet and the wifi will be theirs.  It says in the netro installation that in case of no wifi , it "might work to use the "test run" program on your iphone on the log-in page.  But I cannot see the "Test Run" option  on my iPhone 6S.  


Please help because with the corona virus shut down, Netro is closed and  it could be weeks before I can get to the site to water it manually and all the plants could perish for lack or water!!!

Instalación wifi

Good afternoon. 


 I have problems because I don't recognize the wifi.  I'll explain. First I connect by wifi to netro and it does not give me any problems.  But when I go back to the next screen to connect the mobile to the wifi and the wifi from home no longer appears. He's gone. And I can't continue with the installation.

pixie does not measure humidity correctly

hi,

I put whisperer in a garden pot, after a few days I noticed that it indicated that the soil was moist even if it was not.
it was particularly dry.
two days ago I moved it, I made the calibration and zeroed the self-learning but still today it shows me that the soil is moist while the soil in the pot is now particularly dry, it is necessary to irrigate!
indicates that it is 98% wet.

what is wrong?


and while because from the app I only see humidity of the top soil while from the web with the webui I also see the humidity of the subsoil?

Whisperer issue

So my whisperer began to fail aboit a few weeks ago. I try reconnecting it and all it does when i press the button is flash a red light. Any help? Cant reset it or do anything at this nm point.

Hi 

Sprite has been successfully installed and tested once each zone (12).

The next day, the decide was offline without any reason and all the attempts to switch off and reset were failed. How I can solve the issue?

Hi good morning,

I’m making the first installation and I see the valves don’t open when I tested it, so I test the connections with a multi-meter and sometimes it gives 24v and sometimes 0.
The last 10 tries it gives 0. I changed the cables and I now I test directly the controller connections and keep giving me 0.
I’m using the manual watering to make the tests.
Is it working correctly?

Watering stops after 5 mins

The system was working fine when I 1st got it but now when it comes on no water comes out it works for about 5 minutes 'then stops . For when I water all zones the 1st stone will water and then it will cycle through and not water any of the other zones Please help

After connecting, my smart watering controller works well. But when the time of programm os elpased, or i order to stop watering, the current in the wire is still on. I need to open the circuit and disconect zone wire to permit the electrovan to close water flow.

Why smart controller don’t stop the current order to the ev ?

App Crashes on adding product

Hi,


I just received my Pixie and Whisperer and wanted to set them up using my iPhone. 

Therefore I launch the app and go to "Add Product", select the Pixie and then I'm promted to enter my location and a name for the timer.

When I click on "next" the app crashes and returns to the home screen. 100% reproducible. I tried to enter different adress and name, but couldn't make it work. Crashes every time. 

Reinstall also didn't solve the problem.


Netro App: 2.4.0

iPhone 11 Pro

iOS 13.3.1

German (also tried English)


Let me know, if you need anything else to reproduce/solve this issue or if there is something that I could do to prevent it. 
So far, I couldn't find anything in the forum here.

new dripping system using Pixie and Whisperer

I am in the process of designing my dripping system for my beach house in FL. I am thinking about using 2 Pixies and several Whisperers. I have several questions: 1) What happens when the WIFI is down? Does Pixie turn watering off/on on its own? 2) Does Pixie skip a watering cycle when raining? 3) Are the Whisperers connected to the Pixie and App in that the humidity information guides the amount and frequency of watering? 4) What is the recommended soil humidity for new planted palm trees?
